Didn't mention it last time, but I did start up a little side project: after talking to someone who works on costumes and props, I decided to take a crack at making my own replica of a fictional weapon. I might be in a little over my head though, as the weapon in question is Soul Calibur 4's Soul Edge, which isn't exactly the easiest of designs. I'm taking pictures of the sword as I progress, and will display them in the projects section later on.
